About Us
Bridges & Buckle Building & Joinery Limited was established in August 2004 by James Bridges and Shawn Buckle, who between them have more than 50 years’ experience in the construction industry. We are one of Yorkshire’s leading labour only joinery subcontractors and pride ourselves on a high standard of workmanship. We have grown over the past 16 years and have more than 60 time served, highly skilled joiners working across 20 developments.
We undertake work on residential properties, offices, schools, care homes, universities, hotels and hospitals. We provide all our own fixings.
Apprenticeships and Training
Every year Bridges & Buckle recruits trainee joiners on apprenticeship schemes which are run in conjunction with the CITB and the local colleges. To ensure we remain at the forefront of our industry and in line with construction innovations, we continually invest in training for our already highly skilled tradesmen.
Health and Safety
We are committed to maintaining a high standard of Health and Safety in all projects we undertake. To this end we are CHAS Premium, SIPP and CQMS accredited contractors. We have appointed RG Wilbrey (Consultants) Limited to administer and advise our work force on health and safety issues. Each of our joiner's holds a CSCS card and each of our site foremen are SSSTS certificated.
